About the Role
The Value Management Senior Analyst is an integral member oftheglobal Value Management (VM) teamwithin Car Audio.Therole'sresponsibility covers all cost-related calculationsespeciallythose related to forecast calculations and regular cross-functional reviews of cost savings. The VM Senior Analyst improves VM processes and owns the definition and tracking of VM KPIs.
What You Will Do
Own cost-related topics for customer projects and products (internally called SPACEs) concerning VM activities from RFQ to post-SOP within the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Car Audio
Drive, establish, and maintain a multi-year forecast savings calculation for Value Management projects and cost-down activities in alignment with cross-functionalteams
Lead Business Case calculations (ROI) for VM projects in alignment with project teams
Analyze and identify technical cost drivers in complex systems and prepare a baseline for technical countermeasures in alignment with project-controlling
Own the definition, tracking, and monitoring of VM KPIsincludingregular cross-functionalreviews
Optimize existing reporting routines and implementation of new reporting standards/tools
Lead and define continuous process optimizations for project cost calculation within VMactivities
Challenge VM Engineering & Procurement from the technical and commercial perspectives during the ideation phase through to the tracking of implementation
Develop mathematical models for project comparisonsto continuously improve ownprocesses
Build and drive re-useable methodologies and models for datasanitychecks
Knowledge transfer between different regions for cost-down opportunities
What You Need
Bachelor'sDegree in Business Administration, (Industrial) Engineering, or a mixed/additional qualification with financial education
Minimum8years of experience as a Cost Engineer or Technical Controlling
Excellent knowledge of ERP, cost-controlling systems, and Value Management methodologies and tools
Strongly result-driven personality
Affinity towards innovation, products, and technology with the ability to understand technical challenges, product variants, competitors, and market dynamics
Ability to align multiple parties with varying objectives to a common goal
Ability to understand and manage complex situations from a technical and commercial perspective
Highly creative working style driving towards the use of the most effective and efficient way of working
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
