University Hospital Outpatient Physical Therapy is in the heart of the main hospital. Along with serving the public, we are also conveniently located to treat U of M employees and students. As a Physical Therapist you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals experiencing musculoskeletal issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating patients with orthopedic, spine, and post-operative rehabilitation needs.
- Evaluate, design, and develop individually designed treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize outcomes.
- Apply clinical decision making to progress and modify treatment depending upon the patient's needs and medical status.
- Perform concise, complete, and timely clinical documentation.
- Provide compassionate, patient-oriented care.
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Program and Clinical Internship is necessary.
- Valid Michigan license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Experience in patient treatment and management related to orthopedic and spine conditions.
This position is full-time (40 hours). Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 7am-5:30pm. Schedule is dependent on clinic needs.
