Purpose:Data Across Sectors for Health (DASH - dashconnect.org) is a national initiative co-directed by the Michigan and Illinois Public Health Institutes that elevates models, principles, and practices that support multisector data-sharing ecosystems to achieve health equity. MPHI leads a capacity-building program and directs the initiative as a collaborative learning system. We seek an individual passionate about public health, project and process management, and interest in health data and evaluation to organize and execute day-to-day operations in a fully virtual, dynamic, and complex environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Meeting Support Responsibilities
Arrange virtual meetings/events via Teams, Zoom, and other virtual platforms, including scheduling, managing participant communication, supporting the meeting through screen sharing, managing the chat and breakout room, and other technical support needs during a virtual gathering.
Organize the scheduling and coordination of project meetings, interviews, focus groups, and other project-related gatherings.
Organize coordination for off-site project meetings, training, and events, including scheduling, establishing, and overseeing venue contracts if applicable.
Assist in preparing project materials and products for meetings/trainings/events.
Create, save, and distribute meeting minutes and monitor needed follow-up.
Support and complete any post-meeting/training/event wrap-up, including creating event evaluation reports, creating, and disseminating event summaries/notes, and coordinating all leftover event materials.
Document Management Responsibilities
Track, update, and save documents created and received by projects.
Generate, input, edit, and proofread meeting notes, reports, correspondence, charts, graphs, and other documents using Microsoft Office applications.
Other Project Support Responsibilities
Collect and enter data as project needs arise.
Support staff in meeting project goals.
Disseminate project-related information to the appropriate persons.
Assist Financial Analyst and award recipients in completing purchase orders, expense reimbursement forms, and prepaid expenses.
Actively participate in project training, team, and staff meetings.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. While attainment of certifications or a degree indicates readiness for success in this role, we do believe that you can become skilled through alternative routes and encourage all to apply.
Experience: Experience working in a professional environment (physical or virtual) is required, both is preferred. Intermediate to advanced understanding and experience in fundamental administrative and clerical methods and tools. Demonstrable experience completing administrative tasks independently. Comfort and fluency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other cloud-based and collaboration applications.

Familiarity with techniques for using reference materials, organizing data, and reporting metrics.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: This position is fully virtual and open to applicants from most States. Most work occurs between 9 and 6 Eastern time, and some tasks may require travel.
