About the role:
The Senior Powertrain Analyst will perform Modeling and Simulation to support the development of conventional, hybrid electric and fully electric powertrains for ground combat vehicles.

Position Responsibilities:
Analysis Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Simulation of torque blending in parallel hybrid system.
Controller/logic tuning for fuel consumption, charging and vehicle range.
Thermal models of power electronics, batteries, and powertrain components.
Battery Management System modeling.
Multidomain powertrain models coupling engine, e-machine, batteries, and electronic components.
Development of toolsets for evolving architectures.
Position Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Master's degree preferred.
Simulation experience using Matlab/Simulink required.
Proven history in the development, correlation, operation and maintenance of analytical toolsets.
Experience in interrogation and manipulation using 3D Modeling software
CFD and/or FEA experience preferred on commercially available and proprietary software.
Automotive and Heavy-Duty vehicle experience required. Military land vehicle experience preferred.
Excellent analytical skills to appropriately size subsystems and components
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Mind-set to work collaboratively in a team environment for program success.
Proven skills in the development of technical documents and oral communication.
Must be a US Person.
