Job Description SummaryResponsible for the EMC laboratory. Key deliverables is to provide specialized test data aligned with the appropriate standard in a report that meets the engineering teams need. The role requires scheduling of specific tests in an expedient order, setup of the test equipment with the Device Under Test, Execute the specific tests ensuring data integrity, and provide specific test reports. The role requires time management disciple, trouble shooting skills and precision in execution.
Job Description

Compile and maintain the typical EMC standards being applied to AAM product
Build the work product instructions for each applied test
Ensure equipment compatibility to the standards and that calibration requirements are maintained
Define the optimal sequence of tests to maximize testing time and minimize setup times
Integrate the Team Center Test Order system in PLM to ensure data and process integrity
Set up and execute all test sequences collecting product performance data
Provide Test reports and data to the requesting development team
Maintain EMC lab Schedule
Required Skills and Education
Skills, Abilities, Experience & Education
3 to 5 years experience in EMC testing laboratory or equivalent
2 year technical degree in electrical systems or equivalent
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Ability to read and interpret detailed electromagnetic specifications
Proficient in using specialized computer tools
Capable of operating all specific EMC test equipment
Able to train staff to support the equipment
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Demonstrated time management skill, individually and for a group
