Description
We are hiring a Model Maker to provide support strategies of Product Development and Launch through the application of Modeling!
What You Will Be Doing:
Responsible for the execution and implementation of methodologies, practices and assignments that support strategies of Product Development and Launch through the application of Modeling: Existing and emerging materials and capabilities; Applying prototyping with a Systems Thinking approach; Promote and manage relationships (internal and external); Create and manage environments that foster team collaboration across functions and organizations; Manage upward and downward communications; Evaluate external trends and best practices in order to create a culture of improvement.
Your future team:
You will work with cross functional teams of manufacturing engineers, product engineer, quality engineers, supply management leaders, General Managers of the studios and project managers. This team will provide information on what the custom artifact(s) is and customer expectations.

Ability to research tools (process, workflow), technology, capability, and experience to prototype to speed - solutions
Ability to Implement (co-create with Eng./Design) Processes/Methods to evaluate multiple solutions simultaneously
Demonstrate collaboration with Engineering, Design, others in Ideation processes
Actively support and facilitate the shift towards the Make/ Draw /Print methodology
Ability to leverage processes and materials to demonstrate new ideas and prove feasibility
Ability to leverage expertise in technical knowledge of processes and materials to develop an appropriate/effective model based on quality, cost, and timing needs defined by product teams
Ability to operate a variety of equipment effectively and safely relative to applied area of modeling
Ability to collaborate with Product teams the prototyping and use of new and emerging materials and processes
Demonstrate Awareness of applicable production processes related to materials
Ability to Learn /aware of emerging modeling methods
Apply technology learnings to our product solutions
Apply and learn a working knowledge of how products interface/integrate
Participate in professional networks and relationships for development / growth
Support knowledge sharing with peers
Demonstrate support integration on development teams as appropriate
Develop broad skill and capability to supplement specialization
Participate in life-long learning
Demonstrate compliance awareness: materials, safety, government regulation, environmental, personal protection, etc.

Participate in status and operational meetings (work flow/execution) as defined
Ability to leveraging a space that allows hands on application of simple breadboard projects for Eng. and Design
Ability to communicate and prototype detailed technical information to Engineering, Design, Testing and Quality.
Support hands on learning for Peers, Design, and Engineering through an environment that promotes coaching, teaching, and humility
Ability to appropriately represent the profession
Demonstrate Awareness of emerging technologies: perspectives outside of office furniture norms

Preferred Apprenticeship in a technical area
