MFA or MA in Theatre Directing, Design or Performance, or closely related field (from a regionally accredited college or university).

Is competent to teach in two or more of the following areas:
-Scenic/Lighting Design (Season design opportunities available)
-Stage Combat/Movement
-Acting/Directing
-Theatre History/Play Analysis
-Shakespeare

Alternative Required Qualifications:
BFA or BA in Theatre Directing, Design or Performance, or closely related field (from a regionally accredited college or university), with five years’ experience at a professional, college/university or conservatory level.

Is competent to teach in two or more of the following areas:
-Scenic/Lighting Design (Season design opportunities available)
-Stage Combat/Movement
-Acting/Directing
-Theatre History/Play Analysis
-Shakespeare

PREFERRED:

Experience teaching at a college level (may include graduate teaching assistant). Ability to teach courses in person and online in an asynchronous and synchronous modality; or willingness to become certified to teach online courses.
