Title: Senior Project Coordinator CSHP/CDMTR

Purpose:The Centers for Strategic Health Partnerships and Data Management and Translational Research seeks a Senior Project Coordinator to lead our family engagement work. Candidate must have lived experience as a person, parent, or caregiver of a person with special health care needs or have professional experience working with this community. The Project Coordinator will utilize their personal and professional experience to provide project coordination, organization, and facilitation on multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in coordinating local, state, and nationally scoped projects, have facilitation training and be able to build consensus around system improvements. This position will lead our projects that work with families, public health, and other partners to improve health outcomes and quality of life for families that face chronic health conditions. The Project Coordinator will utilize their personal and professional experience to provide project coordination, organization, and facilitation on multiple projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Coordination
Identify, plan, and coordinate project activities consistent with goals and resources.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project content area.
Lead project facilitation and develop project action plans and timelines with autonomy.
Identify, prioritize, and delegate project tasks to team members when appropriate.
Monitor task status and participate in proactive planning to maintain project schedules.
Coordinate and participate in the development of all project reporting requirements.
Provide final review of all project deliverables and sign off before submission.
Facilitate and lead internal and external project meetings.
Oversee project updates on the completion status of tasks, ongoing activities, and project issues from project staff.
Lead the development of team members and provide mentorship and guidance as needed.
Lead monitoring of projects' financial status and approved budgets and timelines.
Correspond with clients and subcontractors, funding agencies, and project partners continuously.
Facilitation Activities
Facilitate planning and decision-making processes, supporting partner engagement and consensus building.
Use effective facilitation techniques and align project outcomes with statewide partner and funder needs.
Outreach and Community Engagement Duties
Serve on committees and engage with community and partner organizations to achieve a project's desired outcomes.
Identify and collaborate with community engagement initiatives; support networks and resources for community engagement for community members who identify with a disability.
Support families as equal partners in decision-making by mentoring and guiding families and project partners across multiple projects.
Project and Business Development Responsibilities
Utilize data to design strategies to support partners in planning and decision-making related to strategy deployment, implementation, and reporting.
Lead project development activities, including identifying, conceptualizing, writing, and producing proposals; preparing work plans; reading and reviewing literature and materials; assembling plans and models for new technical assistance and evaluation activities; and seeking opportunities for project development and additional project funding.
Remain current on literature in key areas to be identified in collaboration with the Program Director.
Administrative/MPHI Responsibilities
Lead and implement project work plans, IRB application materials, timelines, and reports.
Travel both in-state and out-of-state as needed.
Present project results and lead project meetings as needed.
Maintain a positive, strong, credible, professional interpersonal relationship with all parties to MPHI projects and always represent MPHI's best interests.
Participate in ongoing strategic planning and other special projects for the Center and company.
Maintain all MPHI-required internal training requirements.
Coach and mentor on MPHI's Core Values of Servant Leadership, Health Equity and Social Justice, Authentic Relationships, and Quality and Excellence.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: A minimum bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, community psychology, sociology, social work, or relevant social science discipline. A master's degree in a related field is highly preferred.
Experience: At least five years of experience leading project tasks independently, including project planning, client relations and communication, staff oversight (including onboarding to project and task, supervision, delegation, providing constructive feedback and mentorship), product review, and accountability to timeline and scope of work. Strong facilitation skills are required. Prefer facilitation certification and demonstration of facilitation. Experience in grant writing at the Public Health level is a plus. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, cloud-based applications, and virtual meeting platforms.
