Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is currently looking for a Vehicle Energy Efficiency Intern to join the Electrified Propulsion Development team in Superior Township, MI.
Essential Duties:
Collect and analyze vehicle data for fuel efficiency and emissions development.
Run vehicle testing in dynamometer to validate vehicle fuel economy status.
Develop and use vehicle efficiency simulations for fuel economy target setting.
Simulink-based vehicle fuel efficiency model development and validation
Collaboration and Communication: You will collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and team members on one or more projects.
Desired Skills
Hands-on vehicle experience or student project experience in Formula SAE/Baja/Ecocar or robotics
Minimum requirements
Pursuing bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical or computer engineering with minimum of a sophomore rating
Must have experience developing MATLAB, Python scripts for data analysis and visualization.
Strong analytical capabilities, strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong desire to take responsibility for a vehicle attribute and develop a plan to develop it.
Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
