LTS Business Unit Analyst
The role of the Business Unit Analyst involves significant data research and identification, complex reporting/analytics development, creation and maintenance of new databases/data sets, and capabilities to integrate information from multiple sources.
Position Responsibilities:
Process, Procedure and Change Management:
Lead and/or support process and procedure governance activities, including compliance and risk reporting.
Manage the development, communication, review and updating of internal operating procedures and workflows.
Collaborate with LTS Risk and Control tower to ensure processes and procedures align with risk management requirements and potential issues are identified.
Maintain process documentation templates, best practices, guidelines, etc. on internal SharePoint site/designated repository.
Management of Operations Reporting:
Develop, implement, and maintain effective reporting through forward thinking analytics, gained by establishing a thorough understanding of business operations combined with superior knowledge of data available, reporting tools and relevant system applications.
Effective collaboration with all LTS towers to provide value added analytics and reporting to help facilitate operations management, business partner engagement, risk monitoring, change management, process and procedure governance, knowledge management and operational efficiency.
Projects:
Actively participate in initiatives and projects throughout, Lending and Trade Services and Comerica.
Contribute to projects which may include-
Developing and documenting user requirements.
Engage in user acceptance testing.
Driving implementation and postproduction validation.
Creating business cases and completing cost/benefit analyses.
Supporting RFx activities in collaboration with LTS and Corporate Procurement.
LTS specific activities in support of broader Tech and Ops initiatives.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business preferred or related field of study from accredited university; or 6 years of lending operations or systems application support to loan customers
5 years data analysis experience
3 years of experience interacting with clients, senior leadership, relationship managers or lenders
3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, and Excel)
3 years of experience of Commercial Loan operations or financial services
