Overview of this Position:
The Maintenance Inventory Controller has the primary responsibility to establish and maintain a maintenance spare parts system, set up and manage storage location(s), track and control inventory levels, create bill of materials (BOM) associated with assets in the CMMS system. With established systems and procedures for maintenance inventory in place.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Possess Associates degree in engineering or technical discipline and 1+year related work experience. May consider non-degreed candidates with a strong work history in directly relevant experience.
Inventory control, stocking, storeroom experience.
CMMS experience.
Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Requirements
1+ years experience working in a regulated environment.
Knowledge of GMP standards and ability to follow CFR guidelines.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Oversee Facilities Engineering & Maintenance inventory and work with supply chain management according to company guidelines to ensure parts and supplies are available when needed.
Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock.
Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory in CMMS, including transfers and cycle counts.
Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.
Review maintenance schedules and production requirements to ensure timely completion fulfillment.
Collaborate with maintenance manager and operations to ensure optimum productivity and timely completion of work orders.
Create and implement integrated systems for carrying out work scheduling processes, such as time availability and inventory control, human work factors, and cost analysis, logistics and material flow, and production coordination.
Ensure the availability of asset and maintenance data to perform the work scheduled.
Assign and coordinate maintenance process improvement with manufacturing sites.
Provide initiatives for continuous production and engineering improvements.
Collect information from completed tasks and properly document on CMMS to close out work orders.
