QUALIFICATIONS:
- KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of IATF16949 QMS (preferred)
- Ability to interpret and understand various measurements, units, and conversions
- Ability to interpret customer drawings and specifications
- Understanding of IATF 16949 calibration requirements (preferred)
- Ability to operate various types of laboratory testing equipment
- EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of laboratory testing experience or equivalent
- Achieve a score 50 or lower on the Munsell Hue Test (tested upon interview)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Test, record and perform functions necessary to meet customer requirements. Responsible for processing and maintaining quality related test reports, specifications and the inspection of parts. Maintain the Laboratory Scope, and Certification Program.
- FUNCTIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize, perform, and document laboratory tests to meet customer requirements.
- Produce and document test reports.
- Coordinate outsourced laboratories to complete testing not performed in-house.
- Perform calibrations on equipment.
- Perform incoming inspections as needed.
- Maintain all testing specifications.
- Update & maintain OEM annual revalidation testing program.
- Execute continuous improvement in the laboratory.
