Role Summary
As a Regional Technical Support Specialist, Collision Repair, you will support Rivian's Certified Network repair strategy reporting directly to the Regional Collision Manager and supporting RCCN Account Managers. You will be responsible for ensuring great customer satisfaction at our Certified Network locations. This role will require the establishment of exacting standards of performance and operational excellence, as well as support of regional on-ground operations. The Regional Technical Support Specialist, will work in the field with 3rd Party Certified Partners, and travel throughout the region.
This role will require exceptional cross functional interaction across multiple teams within Rivian as well as external 3rd party partners. A dynamic and resourceful team member with proven leadership qualities, great communications skills, an analytical approach to problem solving, continuous improvement, and organization. Responsible for the day-to-day operations in an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) managed network of high performing 3rd party repair partners in a dynamic environment. This role will require extensive travel, operational excellence, organization and excel in internal and external communication skills - you will bridge the gap between the Rivian Certified Networks, the local Rivian Service Center, the Certified Network Operations Team, and Rivian vehicle owners. The Regional Technical Support Specialist, Collision Repair will report to the Sr. Manager, Certified Collision Network.
Responsibilities
Recruit, Onboard, and support 3rd party certified network programs with technical or operational needs
Execute on deliverables, milestone reports, open action items, risks, and mitigation plans
Drive quality, continuous improvement, and deliver on key performance indicators
Collaborate alongside regional management to handle any challenges that arise during repairs of Rivian customer vehicles
Ensure operational excellence and validate that brand standards are maintained in accordance with Rivian Certified Network Standards
Drive success for the greater Certified Network by providing feedback to the Network Operations Team
Collaborate with Network and Service Engineering Teams to address repair challenges and customer concerns
Analyze the business, create, and communicate clear action plans that optimize results in collaboration with the Regional Manager
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in automotive collision repair, OEM, and/or technical field, with emphasis in engineering, quality, service, operations, and supply chain
Experience in supporting teams in an automotive or high-tech environment
Must possess a valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
Experience managing multiple projects across varying geographic locations simultaneously
The ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners
Thorough organization and attention to detail
Ability to sit or stand for 8-10 hours per day
Ability to lift 35 lbs.
Occasionally required to climb, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Requires travel up to 75% of the time
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $121,000 to $150,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Colorado Based Applicants: $114,000 to $132,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $130,000 to $150,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Washington State Based Applicants: $121,000 to $139,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
