Warehouse/ Inventory Control
Duro-Last Roofing, the world's largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has a full-time opening for a Warehouse Clerk in their Inventory Control Department. The position is located at our headquarters in Saginaw, MI.
Position Responsibilities:
Create the weekly warehouse transfer schedule
Dispatch stock transfer loads directly with carriers
Expedite stock transfer loads when needed
Verify transactions and paperwork are completed for all warehouse receipts
Perform Cycle Counts
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed
Investigate the daily Premium Transportation expenses
Post daily Metric Management statistics
Occasional material handling tasks
All other duties assigned
Position Requirements:
Must have an Associate's degree in accounting or in a business/industrial technology program or equivalent experience in inventory/distribution
Experience with bar-coding preferred
Must be accurate and have a high attention to detail
Experience with cycle counts and year/month-end inventory
Self-motivated and a team player
Excellent clerical skills to include MS Excel/Word and AS-400 Mapics experience
Excellent written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent math skills
Must be flexible with hours and able to work overtime
Must have or be able to obtain a forklift certification
