Role Summary
Reporting to the Sr.ManagerofLearningExperience Design & Technology,the individual contributorLead Training Operations Specialist plays a key role in enabling a modern learning culture through Rivian's Learning Management System (LMS). You'll be responsible for technical management, day-to-day support and executing against our learning technology strategy. You will play a central role in ensuring our learning technologies enable development across the enterprise and align with strategic learning and performance development initiatives.
Responsibilities
Oversee and support the day-to-day operation of the learning management system and related learning technology.
Monitor system performance, utilization, and system configurations to ensure uninterrupted operations and proper access for end users.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems related to the learning management system, including errors, login difficulties, integration problems, and other system issues affecting end users.
Implement effective remediation efforts and/or work-around solutions. Escalate advanced technical issues and follow up on forwarded cases to full resolution.
Create new course shells and maintain existing shells to ensure proper standardization, functionality, user accounts, access, roles, and user privileges.
Plan, test, implement, and support system design changes, modifications, and updates for existing and new learning management system features.
Coordinate learning management system integrations with external systems.
Consult and advise the business to bridge business problems with learning technology solutions.
Make recommendations regarding technology changes based on data, insights and developments with operational needs.
Spearhead efforts to launch and sustain robust, scalable, and aligned digital learning initiatives.
Maintains relationships and collaborates with our chosen vendors to drive system adoption, awareness and ROI.
Routinely collaborate with internal and external technical teams to develop in and maintain the LMS.
Upload, publish, manage, test, deploy and report on content including, but not limited to, online courses, tests, surveys, evaluations, documents, and instructor-led training.
Provide technical assistance to learners and other system administrators or course content creators as needed (acting as the SME for our LMS).
Drive system standards and requirements to maintain data integrity and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with program managers to support the diverse and evolving calendar of online events offered through the LMS
Qualifications
Experience with complex technical support within an LMS. (Cornerstone OnDemand experience required).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in LMS administration.
Minimum of 3 years working in a Learning and Development department.
Ideal candidates should have strong consultative, program and project management skills.
Proven success in the development and execution of system communication plans related to the implementation of new trainings, systems, enhancements, and/or process changes.
Proven ability to uncover gaps that lead to technical training resources development supporting a decentralized LMS population.
Skilled at communicating, verbally and in writing, technical information in terms understandable to non-technical end users.
Experience implementing complex system automation to support unique business conditions.
Able and willingness to work independently, with limited supervision.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and deploy solutions in available systems.
Ability to manage ambiguity, apply problem-solving skills, adapt, and pivot quickly in an ever-changing environment.

Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $135,000 - $155,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Colorado Based Applicants: $128,000 - $148,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $147,000 - $169,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Washington Based Applicants: $135,000 - $155,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
