The Director, Supply Chain is responsible for driving operational improvements, cost reduction efforts, and customer experience initiatives across senior leaders for the Supply Chain and cross functionally outside of the Supply Chain. Responsibilities include oversight and leadership to identify, develop, implement, and manage positive changes to people, service, and cost initiatives by leveraging supply chain practices/policies. In addition, you will support other senior leaders in developing initiative-specific strategic roadmaps that support the broader Global Supply Chain & Customer Experience.
You will report to the President, E&R Industrial.You Will:
Project Leadership
Identify customer and business improvements and translate into cross functional project and improvement work
Facilitate the collection of data and first-person accounts of operational opportunities, cost-saving measures, and customer and team member experiences that need improvement across specific projects and ensure long term sustainable solutions are developed and prioritized for improvement
Strategic Planning
Many projects that the Supply Chain team leads and supports are multi-year efforts. As such, this leader needs to support the strategy for these projects by:
Collaborating and brainstorming with the Supply Chainteam, senior leadersto align on a desired end state of a specific project or initiative
Determining and sequencing the events and initiatives that need to occur over the course of time to achieve the desired end state
Determining the resources to support workstreams and initiatives to take place across multiple projects/roadmaps that the team executesYou Have:
*Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years progressive responsibility leading successful teams (or equivalent experience)
*Excellent strategic/innovative thinking capabilities while also taking a hands-on approach
*Experience in leading and promoting large-scale change across different departments and leadership levels
*Strong business, analytical, communication & facilitation skills
* Demonstrated ability to build and lead work teams
*Proven ability to build effective relationships at all senior leadership levels of the organization, decisively address issues and maintain business focus
*Collaborate with key business partners and leaders to align and gain buy-in to customer experience strategies
*Demonstrated ability to influence key leadership in the organization
*Ability to operate in rapidly changing environment while adhering to schedules and budgets
*Established communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to articulate business focus
