We are looking for candidates who are interested in pursuing internship opportunities with OneStream Software. We are a financial software company, headquartered in Rochester, Michigan. We offer a financial consolidation software, and marketplace solutions, to large organizations across the world. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Corporate Performance Management (CPM) industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Technical Writer Intern to join our Product Management Documentation team. In this position, you will work with Product Owners and key stakeholders to script and create videos to orient potentially non-technical customers with new products or product functionality. You may also work with Product Management, Development and Quality Assurance teams to update the product documentation - including release notes and user, design, installation, and references guides to reflect new or enhanced features in an upcoming product release. You will ensure all content is grammatically correct, follows Documentation team standards, and is reviewed for accuracy before publication. This position requires effective planning, scheduling, research, and writing skills and is a great opportunity for someone who wants to extend their writing and production skills.
Learn how to write video scripts and produce videos using video editing software to showcase new solutions for the Platform.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Formal Education and Certification
In pursuit of a bachelor's degree or graduate-level degree in a relevant business area
3.2 GPA or higher
Junior, senior, and graduate-level students preferred
Previous internship experience is nice to have, but not necessarily require
The following experience and skills are ideal but not required:
Writing for different audiences
Video scripting, production (with Camtasia or Captivate) and hosting (with Vimeo or YouTube)
Capturing and editing audio recordings
Graphic design or familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop, Express or Illustrator
Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Writing for social media
Personal Attributes
Highly motivated and self-directed
Possess basic knowledge of and a keen interest in finance
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills
Know your way around Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
Comfort with speaking to individuals and presenting to large groups
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
