Job Description
The IT Vendor Management Manager is responsible for all technology vendors across the Rockwell organization. You will report to the Director of IT Results Delivery Office. You will be directly responsible for a combination of IT vendor contract, performance, relationship, and risk management. You own and must understand contractual, commercial, and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure delivery of committed products, services, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Contract management:
Oversee maintenance of vendor agreements and in cooperation with procurement, legal, and business stakeholders ensure that they are current/up to date.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of a repository of vendors in a contract management database to track key engagement milestones which include expirations and renewals.
Segment and rationalize the vendor portfolio so that it can be applied to the most important vendor relationships/engagements.
Maintain an inventory of vendor spend in collaboration with Finance by category software, hardware, staff augmentation, and services.
Negotiation management:
Oversee the negotiation of large vendor professional services, hardware, and software agreements.
Relationship management:
Manage vendor relationships as the main point of contact between specified vendors and the business.
Serve as a point of escalation for vendor issues and disputes and drive those issues to resolution.
Manage the communication process with vendors, including what information should be communicated, when and by whom, to ensure that appropriate leverage is preserved.
Performance management:
Oversee the measurement and reporting of vendor performance, including the development of evaluation tools based on stakeholder needs, and the creation of scorecards and dashboards.
Ensure that the metrics used to evaluate performance are properly tied to business outcomes and ensure that these metrics are clear.
Manage delivery of performance feedback to vendor organizations and oversee action plans and corrective measures which may arise from the performance management process.
Risk management:
Maintain vendor risk assessments or risk registers in cooperation with risk, privacy, business continuity and security teams.
Develop or participate in the development of risk frameworks accounting for sensitivity to and tolerance for identified vendor risk types (financial, regulatory, operational, reputational, etc.).
Partner with other areas of the business, procurement, and finance to track and report on vendor financial viability, business continuity, and corporate and regulatory compliance.
The Essentials- You will have
Bachelor's or Post-Graduate Degree depending on role*

The Preferred- You may also have
Degree in business or management.
Typically requires 12 years experience in leading vendor management of varying complexity and global scope
Experience leading a team in the management of vendors/third parties, including policies, performance, vendor risk, relationships, contracts including negotiations, and issue and dispute resolution
Experience driving change and facilitating collaboration and action in distributed environment where IT vendor management operates in a center of excellence model
CIPS, CPSM, CTPE, and SFIA qualifications.
Experience with IT standards such as ITIL.
