JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for communicating the status of Non-stocking Items (NSI) - not stocked in Henry Schein's warehouses and has been ordered by customers, including certain subsidiary customer orders. Confirms that orders are placed, processed, and expedited in a timely fashion ensure customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate with appropriate divisions of Henry Schein and subsidiaries the status of customer orders which include non-stock items. Management of all steps of PO management, order cancellation and warehouse disposition to ensure customer satisfaction.
Works closely with purchasing team on management of order placement out of E3 purchasing system
Monitors processing of NSI orders through NSI Management tool
Communicates to customer service team orders status, supplier backorder and order placement
Expedites purchase orders using reporting generated from NSI Management tool
Works closely with assigned vendors to ensure item integrity and pricing. Communicates updates to Product Data Management team and customer service
Works closely with assigned warehouses to release pending orders
Management of excessive inventory on non-stock items. Partners with the buyers to identify and execute removal via suppliers approval
Participates in special projects and perform other duties as required
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Working knowledge of AS400, JD Edwards, Outlook, and Excel and Microsoft programs.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 3 or more years of related experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor's degree preferred.
The posted range for this position is $36,000-$63,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
