JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Engineer to join our Automation and Metrics team at Adient LLC and take ownership of our ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administration, configuration, and maintenance of our ServiceNow environment to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs within Adient.
Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring its stability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that align with business processes and objectives.
Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow modules, workflows, API's, forms, and integrations to meet specific business needs.
Perform regular system upgrades and apply patches as required to maintain platform security and functionality.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to the ServiceNow platform, including diagnosing, and resolving technical problems and working with vendors when necessary.
Create and maintain documentation, including process flows, configuration specifications, and user guides.
Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure the platform adheres to security best practices and compliance requirements.
Provide training and support to end-users, including creating training materials and conducting workshops as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the ServiceNow platform and drive innovation and maturation.
Management of ticket incidents related to ServiceNow and other IT Platforms for resolution.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience wil be considered.
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, including hands-on experience with configuration, customization, and administration of the ServiceNow platform.
Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, CMDB, Asset Management, etc.
Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, and other scripting languages used in ServiceNow development.
Experience with integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
