SEMCO -Supervisor Operations
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
Oversees the day-to-day installation and maintenance of gas service lines and pipelines, regulator stations and gas storage fields. Directs the fulfillment of project assignments, within budget, with quality and on schedule. Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures consistent with Company goals and objectives. Formulates departmental goals and objectives. Ensures company internal control procedures and processes are followed. Periodically review internal controls and processes for improvement. Trains, monitors, coaches, develops, and evaluates unit employees. Manages the operation department's applicable work processes. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks. Prepares regular and special reports for regional operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
Minimum of three to five years of related work experience. Supervisory experience is preferred.
Thorough knowledge of gas mains, service line or regulator station, compressor station installations, maintenance, and operation.
Skill Requirement(s):
Proven organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data, compile statistics and prepare reports, graphs, tables and charts.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in order to deal effectively with a variety of interpersonal relationships and situations.
Good working knowledge of spreadsheet applications and various personal computer business software applications presently used by the Company. Ability to learn new applications.

Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves sitting at a desk and operating personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Duties may also involve occasional bending, stooping and lifting of up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Occasional travel to various worksites may also be required, depending on assignment. May review interior and exterior work locations that involve hazardous environments requiring personal protective equipment and some physical discomfort due to temperature, dust and noise. May be required to work in confined spaces, on ladders and in adverse weather conditions.
In addition to our standard benefits package, the estimated base salary for this role will range from $86,500 - $105,00, depending on experience.
