As a Business Applications - ServiceNow Technical Consultant at RSM, you will work with businesses in diverse industries while working on numerous projects per year, you will work on several pieces of any assignment - not just one small part - and you will feel a great sense of accomplishment when you are done. Responsibilities:
Develop, configure, and create ServiceNow applications using scripting and low code/no code techniques.
Participate in client workshop sessions with a functional lead to elicit requirements and design a cohesive solution.
Design a solution for the client that meets their requirements and incorporates ServiceNow best practice recommendations for development.
Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
Develop user stories as assigned within the context of an Agile team.
Troubleshoot and remediate defects and break/fix incidents for deployed solutions.
Document technical design, process flow diagrams and conduct technical knowledge transfer sessions with the client.
Work closely with clients, functional consultants, and managerial staff to deliver a high-quality solution to the client.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the NOW platform and its capabilities across a wide range of use cases.
Perform analysis of highly customized instances of ServiceNow to advise on the removal of customization and technical debt.
Design and develop applications and add-ons for the ServiceNow platform.
Deliver enhancement requests, including changes to UI, system properties, foundation content and modifications to existing workflow.
Perform upgrades and installations of ServiceNow.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and/or a technology focused MBA or comparable experience.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
Minimum of 5 years of previous experience delivering Information Technology Integration, Outsourcing, Performance Consulting or Management Consulting Services.
Minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow experience. *
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a large organization or professional services firm.
2-3 full cycle ServiceNow implementations from initiation to completion.
Experience creating and configuring ServiceNow Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, and Flows.
Involvement in implementation projects involving multiple ServiceNow applications and system integrations.
Experience developing on the most recent ServiceNow versions.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with multiple clients.
Highly self-motivated and directed character with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
Core competencies include technical analysis, ServiceNow platform and developer tools, JavaScript and REST.
Experience delivering IT consulting services/solutions many of which encompass strategy, people, and process, technology, and infrastructure components.
Familiar with methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership to support the practice.
Strong computer skills, experience with various software solutions e.g., Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Basic understanding of Data Privacy regulations.
Eligibility to work within the U.S.
Ability to travel up to 30% locally and nationally.
