The GSE Runner picks-up and distributes GSE equipment, tooling and components throughout the facilities and off-site locations by walking or operating company vehicles, including the use of fork lifts. In addition, this position assists GSE and tool room team members with various other tasks.
Essential Job Functions
Picks-up GSE equipment, tooling and components and delivers to the appropriate team members in any of the Duncan Aviation facilities. Operates company vehicles for off-site pick up and delivery of materials. Documents deliveries and pick-ups using the computerized check in and check out procedure.
Loads and unloads delivery trucks using Company forklifts in a safe and timely manner. Visually takes note of obvious damage, properly documents any damage, and notifies appropriate team members of any damage.
Assists with other various ground support duties (i.e., cleaning, organizing, etc.)
Performs various other duties as assigned by management.
Job Specific Requirements
Licenses/Certificates: Forklift Certification; Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; Shipping and Receiving Auditor designation eligible
Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required
Physical: Regularly lifts up to 50lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sitting
Environmental: Tolerates working in extreme temperatures and noisy environments
Education and Experience
High School graduate or equivalent required
Previous parts runner or delivery experience preferred
