DeWys Manufacturing, Inc is seeking an experienced IT Manager. (SIGN ON BONUS)
- Collaborate with various teams to align technology strategies with business goals, implement best practices, and drive innovation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, software, and security systems.
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data security, compliance, and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand technology needs and align IT strategies with business objectives.
- Manage technology budgets, including procurement, licensing, maintenance agreements, and vendor relationships.
- Process owner of company enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and ensure system is up to date with latest releases and/or patches.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute technology projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Monitor and ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and services.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for their integration to improve business processes and efficiency.
- Oversee data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation and competitiveness.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Maintain knowledge of security threats and implement measures to safeguard the organization’s data and systems.
- Conduct regular IT audits to identify potential risks and areas of improvement.
- Manage employee system training, including cyber security.
- Maintain and manage the registration of domains.
- Understand and support the needs of all DMS locations.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong technical knowledge across various IT domains, including networking, systems administration, security, and software development.
- Experience with IT project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Proficient in IT budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Experience is Global Shop is preferred, but not required.
- Maintain server and network equipment, SQL database optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management or a related leadership role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, PMP) are a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member works in an office environment, using a computer terminal on a daily basis and occasionally be required to spend time in the manufacturing facility. Team member must be capable of communicating verbally with team members, management and outside associates on a daily basis. Team member may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision when working on computers.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts when in the plant facility. Works in a business office with computers, telephones and office machines in operations. Noise level is moderate.
