Job Description SummaryAs a Machine Technician you will perform work within a union environment as dispatched to maintain equipment, systems, and processes to support manufacturing production.
Job Description
*Three to five years of past manufacturing experience preferably in an automotive supplier company
*Ability to check for backlash in a ball screw by using an indicator, also the removal & proper bearing set up and installation of ball screw assembly.
*Realign turret heads, spindles, chucks, etc. using indicatoSpindle removal, rebuild, replace
*Ability to read blueprints(bearing stack up, hydraulic systems)
*Hydraulic Cylinder and Pump removal, rebuild, replace
*Hydraulic System troubleshooting
*Mobile Crane License and Rigging
*Ability to work well with others and in teams.
*Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills and Education
*Possess a certified journeyperson's card (or similar contractual Journeyperson status) or document a minimum of eight years of experience in specific trade fromprevious employerson company letterhead.
*Available to work overtime and flexible schedule as required within union facility agreement.
*Available to work any shift as required.
*Ability to pass pre-employment physical including drug testing
