Job Description

Set, implement and evaluate the implementation of treatment operation and standards commensurate with the program requirements.
Review, approve and advise Vice President of Programs in aspects of all DRMM contracts.
Assist the management team in the development of programs in response to the changing service needs.
Monitor and evaluate operations and treatment programs and records in accordance with the standards of the Office of Substance Abuse Services and other applicable licensing bodies.
Develop and maintain a client referral network. Develop and coordinate the implementation of client and treatment staff training.
Provide input to each Ministry Division’s budget for treatment and operation services.
Oversee and interact with Managers to develop a climate that fosters positive inter-departmental and inter-personal relationships.
Provide or refer individual diagnostic services and treatment for clients as referred by the Ministry Division’s treatment staff.
Train all counseling and case management staff in the proper service documentation.
Track the effectiveness of specific counselors/case managers relative to documentation quality. Assess service documentation quality, and provide feedback/implement corrective action steps on a one-on-one basis with counselors/case managers.
Maintain records to assure that files are complete, actions taken on behalf of, or services provided to, participants are documented timely, records support billing statements and administrative records and reports are accurate and timely.
Responsible for all aspects of Intake as it relates to Treatment.
Attend and participate in in-service education and training, multi-disciplinary staff meetings or general staff meetings as required.
Assure that policies and objectives of DRMM board and upper management are fulfilled. Participate in public relations activities via presentations, participation in community forums, etc. in accord with DRMM policies.
Respond to requests by Finance and Development Departments for budgetary and programmatic information. Chair or participate on DRMM committees as appointed.
Assist Vice President of Programs in training program Managers and Directors in the proper execution of their job duties.
Develop written materials as needed (e.g., grant narrative, response to monitoring visits, policy and procedure recommendations).

Additional Requirements

Masters Degree in a Human Services or Administration field.
Must be a Licensed counselor with a CAADC
Three (5) years successful experience in the supervision of chemical dependency treatment programs.
Effective experience in articulating chemical dependency treatment methodology in various community settings.
Demonstrate organization and time management abilities and demonstrate verbal and written communication, inter-personal and conflict resolution skills.
Mental ability to frequently handle pressures related to simultaneous handling of multiple projects, and various youth personalities, and disruptions.
Physical ability to periodically sit or stand for long periods of time and to bend/lift/carry items while setting up training rooms.
