Essential Job Functions
Promotes safety awareness, educates, snd enforces all safety rules throughout the plant with the goal set at 7 zero plant related-injuries.
Visually inspect and compare production parts with sample parts to assure defect-free products within eaiablished
Pack quality parts and place ona skid, in accordance with packaging specifications to prevent damage when shipping.
Properly complete required charting, tracking, and documentation of production parts for tractability purposes.
Perform secondary production operations and reworking of parts, and fill out related documents.
Grind scrap plastic-while the line is being set-up for production.
Notify process technician of any problems with parts and/or trim tool. Notify process technician if you receive more than 5 bad parts in any given hour, or 3 bad parts in a row.
Notify the process technician at 50 parts prior to a color change or mold change.
Participate in teamwork by helping others in completing a job. Assist anyone who needs help and/or training as time permits. Show courtesy to others, and treat them, as you would expect to be treated.
Properly perform breaks as explained by your supervisor. Communicate with co-workers who are relieving you at break
Properly clean out the trim tool at the end of the shift and during color changes.
Support Continous Improvement team activities as assigned.
Follow all QMS and EMS policies, procedures and work instructions.
General housekeeping; keep work area clean and organized at all times per the 5-S Standard.
