Our client, a global testing, certification, inspection, and training provider, is seeking a day shift Quality Inspector to join their team in Roseville, MI. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating and measuring products and process performance, recording data, and preparing formal reports.

Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints to determine inspection and test methods/procedures
- Creates inspection criteria and check sheets for all incoming product
- Inspects materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to defined requirements
- Marks items for acceptance or rejection, records test results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards
- Responsible for control of calibrated measurement equipment per Corporate QA
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent in Technical or Vocational training
- Automotive experience preferred
- Knowledgeable of standard layout equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gage, and dial indicators
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Brings excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and high attention to detail

- Pay range is up to $19 per hour, commensurate with experience
