Knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, PLC’s, and SCADA systems. Ability to install, program, and provide start-up for instrumentation components. Knowledge of computer systems and relevant software. Analyze and troubleshoot control issues. Familiarity with electrical safety. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
40 hours of relevant technical course work or 1 year of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or treatment facility required. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver’s license, with an excellent driving record. Ability to maintain a Michigan Class “D” Municipal Wastewater operator’s license within 2 years of eligibility. ISA CSST Level 1 Certification preferred.
