Position Title: Director of Finance
Direct Supervisor: Executive Director
Status: Full-time (40 hours), exempt, with benefits
Base Salary: $85,000.00; additional based on education, experience, and credentials
Position Summary
The Clinical and Housing Services Department Director is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Ozone House’s clinical and housing programs, including mental health and substance use disorder counseling, case management, and community-based housing services. Other key aspects of the role include providing leadership and supervision to team members, fostering community partnerships and system collaboration, ensuring effective program implementation, monitoring outcomes, and participation in quality improvement activities.
Education Qualifications
* Commiserate experience and skills will be considered in lieu of level of education/licensing/credentials, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Fully licensed in the State of Michigan preferred.
- Addiction Certification (i.e. CADC, CAADC) and/or, Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) preferred.
Experience Qualifications
* Commiserate experience and skills will be considered in lieu of level of education/licensing/credentials, etc.
- 5+ years of experience in assessment, therapy, case management, crisis response or stabilization programs; experience serving high-risk youth preferred.
- 3+ years of experience providing program management, staff supervision, systems coordination, and leadership.
- Working knowledge of housing assistance programs.
- Experience with program design and integration, data collection, reporting, and budget oversight, outcome driven practice, and meeting contractual expectations.
- Knowledge and proven success working with Evidence-Based and Promising Practices.
- Proficiency with word processing, information management systems, and web navigation.
- Proven experience engaging with diverse identities, including intersecting identities of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background and sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
- Commitment to best practices including Positive Youth Development, Harm-Reduction, Housing First and Trauma Informed approaches
- Work requires effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects; ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- Possess strong work ethic and ability to take initiative. Demonstrate a high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.
Job Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to
- Assign, coordinate, and provide clinical consultation and oversight to ongoing program operations.
- Support the application and implementation of evidence based, best practices and promising practices in conjunction with departmental plans. Assure that all clinical services delivered adhere to established standards of clinical practice protocols.
- Provide oversight and monitoring for substance use and mental health counseling, therapy and care coordination services to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular quality assurance activities.
- Develop recommendations for improvements to service delivery.
- Monitors staff in performing assessments and assists with data collection and monthly reports.
- Assess and monitor to ensure that services are client centered, culturally competent, trauma informed and responsive to diverse populations and needs.
