PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Materials Manager, the Receiving Coordinator is to review and monitor vendor shipment deliveries, vendor ASNs and delivery status as well as create ASN's and documentation for shipments departing the facility. Review and monitor inbound shipments to ensure that all aspects of receiving and invoicing are conducted proficiently to include use of the company’s integrated manufacturing information systems as well as all electronic communication and documentation required. Work with Materials Team to monitor change in delivery windows and hourly demand.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
- Perform daily check for returnable dunnage inventory.
- Analyzes vendor shipments and delivery windows to leveled workforce as required.
- Create receipts in the system for every delivery coming into the plant.
- Generate ASNs in the system for every shipment departing from the plant (vendor returns and returnable dunnage) and verify these are received on time as required.
- Maintain documentation control for all the shipments departing from the plant as well as for all the products coming back to the plant as returnable packaging, reject materials, etc.
- Perform Inventory Cycle Counts, report any inventory discrepancy and report to Area Leader.
- Report receiving discrepancies to Materials team.
- Reprint barcode labels as required.
- Monitor FIFO in the system.
- Record all receipts in EOS/Delivery Performance log.
- Report or communicate any trailer issues to the carrier.
- Performs other related duties as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The receiving coordinator works in an office environment as well as a general factory environment. Some of the physical demands of this position include sitting for prolonged periods of time, walking up and down staircases, occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and occasional stooping and bending. Repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs. Additional hours as required.
KNOWLEDGE:
Be familiar with:
- CMS System
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
EDUCATION:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Automotive Experience
- Experience with FIFO/inventory control
- 3 years progressively, more responsible experience with company integrated manufacturing information systems, and customer programs (EDI, ASN & SMART experience) is preferred
