The Information Security Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate data throughout the entire organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching, designing, and approving secure business-focused solutions that meet or exceed corporate policies and government mandates. This person helps determine strategic direction in order to counter future threats. The Analyst collaborates with a wide range of colleagues including the Privacy Office, Office of the General Counsel, the Policy team, and the Risk Management organization.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Research, design, and advocate next-generation technologies, architectures, and security products that will support security requirements for the enterprise and its customers, business partners and vendors
•Work closely with enterprise architects and specialists to ensure security solutions are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements
•Monitor, review, report, and enforce security policies, procedures and risk management strategy, especially relating to the manufacturing environment
•Review vendor offerings and assist with review of cloud agreements and terms and conditions from a security perspective
•Design and implement security controls, and develop procedures providing the foundation for the security systems directing, and reporting of information security compliance for the cloud
•Minimum 3 years of related experience
•Minimum 1 year of information security experience
•Cloud security experience
•Knowledge and experience with either the International Standards Organization (ISO) techniques related to information security (27001/27002) or the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) publications related to information security (800-53, 800-151)
•Experience designing and implementing security-centric solutions in a multitude of platforms
•Working knowledge of standard network design principles, operating systems, and security tools
•Experience managing delivery for multiple simultaneous complex technology solutions
•Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required, ability to communicate to all level of management in written and verbal form
•Master’s degree in Information Security Technology or Business Administration
•CISSP or related security certification
•Must be capable of conceptualizing, defining, and implementing security systems and architecture
•Formal training and usage of relevant enterprise architecture methodology (TOGAF, SABSA, etc.)
•Experience in the design and deployment of solutions in industrial control systems security
•5+ years relevant information technology experience, including 3 years in a significant security architecture role(s) with a broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multiplatform environments
