ENGINEER II
TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Project collaboration in both stamping and injection molding
Responsible for technical drawings from prototyping to production
Performing essential calculations and analysis in conjunction with mechanical design to verify the design meets the specification
Communicating with vendors, machine shops, global project teams, and customers, to solve any problem encountered during development and manufacturing
Maintaining related documentations such as BOMs and tool drawings
May also be assigned some tasks in helping any mechanical or engineering need in the production facility
System level thinking and cross-disciplinary interactions

Your Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering (other engineering disciplines considered)
Must have strong skills and experience with mechanical drawing software packages, such as SolidWorks
Knowledge of engineering materials, inclusive of mold and die steels
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent decision-making skills
Detail oriented and organized, with strong analytical skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision as a self-starter
Desire to work in a collaborative environment
Bonus If You Have:
Experience in injection molding (Preferred but not required)
Experience in mechanical design for applications of high-speed stamping and injection molding
Technical presentation skills
