POSITION TITLE: Assistant Project Manager (construction industry)

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor looking for an Asst. Project Manager to support our project in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The daily work will include:
- Work closely with Project Manager and project field team
- Responsible for cost estimating, development, and approval of project work plans
- Project scheduling
- Project submittal development tracking
- Project production and material tracking
- Interface with field labor force and activities
- Subcontractor procurement and oversight
- Oversight of site remediation activities
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Other job requirements include:
- Must be knowledgeable with plans and specifications required for environmental clean-up projects
- Familiar with terms and conditions of construction contracts and their applicability to changes in scope of work
SALARY/BENEFITS:
