Tenneco is seeking a driven, self-motivatedFinanceor Purchasing/Supply Chainfocused student who has an interest in gaining hands-on experience working at our fast paced technical facility located inMonroe, MI.*This position will be remote for the time being.

Possible responsibilities include:
Assist with reconciling/resolving payment issues with suppliers
Create/publish A/P metrics reports
Assist with analysis of 3rdpart service provider costs, supplier financial risk assessments, PPV review/reconciliations, vendor payment terms analysis, and cash forecasts
Create data analysis and reports as well as complete special projects as required
Ensure that the Purchasing Finance reports accurately reflect financial performance in accordance with GAAP and Tenneco's policies

Required of an Intern: Must be able to work independently and in a team based environmentExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsEffective time management skillsProficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Minimum Qualifications: Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institutionStudent with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higherAbility to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship periodPossess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's licenseAbility to provide own transportation to/from the job siteLegally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications: Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's in Accounting, Econ, Purchasing and Supply Chain, or Finance from an accredited institutionStudent with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
