We are seeking a professional like you to join our team to own critical account management activities to ensure our team achieves current and future target objectives. Our collaborative culture leverages our sales, technical service, and marketing teams' experience in the execution of our marketing strategies and translates them into profitable and sustainable business for BASF.
In this role, you will manage a balanced approach in farming existing customers and hunting for new customers, actively seek to improve day-to-day work efficiencies, propose any process improvements to peers and managers, and provide necessary feedback into strategic business decisions impacting your customer accounts and our future business objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for the execution of the market segment strategies applicable to your customer base.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your education in Engineering or Business and professional background in Sales and/or Application/Business Development, you will negotiate pricing, service offerings, and terms by developing and executing contracts with customers to generate the maximum value for BASF and your customers. Additionally, you will develop unique value propositions for your customers and manage and implement value pricing, identify growth opportunities, and resolve customer issues.
Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will develop and execute regional, as well as, contribute to or lead the global strategic account plans as applicable for your area of responsibility in order to meet or exceed set annual objectives and budgets for accounts while effectively manage business relationships with key decision makers and influencers at the accounts.
