Position Summary:
Enhance the growth of gaming revenues and Guest visitation of high worth, primarily Asian guests through the development of targeted customer bases with high-valued Asian Guests, while adhering to the Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop personal relationships with new and first-time specialty market guests.
• Must be responsible for promoting a positive influence in the specialty market community and participating in company-sponsored events.
• Required to be present at off-property specialty market events in the community including but not limited to: golfing events; trade shows; store openings and dinner parties.
• Responsible for the creation of specialty market events, gaming, and non-gaming.
• Responsible for increasing Table Games Baccarat gaming revenue and developing plans accordingly.
• Accompany guests at meals and other activities or events.
• Analyze data as needed for the determination of "high-end" players.
• Develops relationships with Guests and the property through telemarketing, email marketing, direct mail, and in-person contact.
• Proactively networks with existing Guests and various social/professional circles to bring new business to the property.
• Resolves guest opportunities, conflicts, and complaints on behalf of the company in a fair and equitable manner.
• Makes decisions regarding guest complimentaries based on a consideration of rated play, earned points, reinvestment guidelines and overall profitability.
• Achieves departmental sales and growth goals.
• Supports actively promotes and demonstrates superior guest service.
• Actively involved and knowledgeable with property special events and promotions.
• Utilizes provided software to build portfolios of Guests' preferences and hobbies to be used to better marketing and communicate with.
• Attends and represents the Company at off-property events, dinners, golf outings, etc. to generate new business leads.
• Assists in the development and execution of special events and promotions for VIP Guests.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as either Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin or Vietnamese is required. Ability to prepare, read and interpret documents.
• Previous guest service experience with the specialty market community required.
• Must have a cultural understanding of the specialty market.
• Four years of previous sales, telemarketing, hospitality or gaming experience is preferred.
• General knowledge and understanding of casino games is preferred.
• Must possess a strong outgoing, enthusiastic and friendly personality.
• Proven ability to logically and independently plan, organize and complete work.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products, with the ability to learn and comprehend new programs.
• Proven ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to maintain flexible hours and willingness to adjust the schedule to meet business demands.
Physical Requirements:
• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
• Manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
• Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, walk, and stand for the duration of shift.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically performed in a casino environment, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks will also be performed from a sitting position. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of the assigned area. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
