Responsibilities beyond development of software may include participation in component and data architecture design, technology planning, product evaluation, advanced testing processes and buy vs. build recommendations. Individuals also provide input to project plans related to the Application Development initiative.
Application Developers have a strong knowledge of programming languages used by the organization.
They have experience in systems design and have a solid understanding of development, database development, testing, and integration methodologies.

Client Health Plan Business, team is currently seeking an Application Developer position for our Detroit / Jefferson facility to work with our Benefits team. The primary responsibilities of this position will include application development, maintenance and support of the Benefit Configurator suite of applications.
Qualifications:
Top Three Skills/Experience:
5+ years of IT support experience with JAVA programming language and JEE patterns.
3+ years of IT support experience and working knowledge of ORACLE.
3+ years of experience of Spring REST, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, SOAP services, Hibernate
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
5 years of application programming and analysis experience required.
Has a broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards.
