Managing the clinical quality of OP Pediatric Psychiatry & psychotherapy services
Budgetary responsibility including creating effective, proactive budget plans as well as remediation and capital planning
Strategic planning for OP BHS
Ownership of:
Quality of Pediatric Clinical Services
Development of Pediatric Clinical Programming
Responsible for determining when/where/provider type to recruit, departmental right-sizing, and/or service offerings by site
Development of rational, cost-effective staffing model to support high-quality care and service
Recruitment, retention, and management of provider leader direct reports (performance reviews, performance issues, staff files, staff schedules, etc.)
Determines minimum requirements for hire; enforces policies & validates licensure
Metrics management: analyzing data provided & developing effective action plans to improve performance
Identifying cross-site trends and opportunities; developing & implementing departmental standards
Development and management of effective continuing education requirements and service/performance expectations for OP BHS providers
Resolution of patient complaints/clinical service recovery
Employee engagement
Partners with other team members to foster and champion an inclusive workplace culture
Development of rational, cost-effective staffing model to support high-quality care and service
Determines departmental standards such as closing/opening to new patients; clinical contact hours requirements, access expectations, vacation/out-of-office procedures, etc.
Contributes by:
Partnering with OP Group Practice Director and OP Adult Medical Director to determine opportunities for improvement of service, quality, financial performance, etc. and execute effective process redesigns
Providing input/expertise as needed to supervising provider for assessing BHS OP provider performance & quality/audits
Meeting with key external stakeholders (hospital/DEM leadership, KWH/MPG leadership, external stakeholders) to ensure service goals and expectations are clear, performance is measured, and performance deficiencies are rectified in a timely manner
