Sr. Transformation & Change Program Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Transformation & Change Program Manager to join our Operations Function to support the Bayer Crop Science Digital Farming Solution unit.
As a major step toward delivering on our Transform2Win ambition, Bayer Crop Science created a dedicated Digital Farming Solutions unit bringing together The Climate Corporation, New Business Model (NBM) Venture and Incubator Leads, and IT's NBM Digital Delivery team. Unifying our digital farming and NBM capabilities under one cohesive strategy and centralized leadership will improve global and regional alignment, bring us closer to farmers, and improve our value proposition with customers.
The creation of the Digital Farming Solution unit (DFS) calls for reshaping our ability to drive culture, performance, and engagement no matter where you work. The newly created Transformation & Change Lead will drive a transformation roadmap, engaging the entirety of the DFS function to evolve our operating model and thus increasing the value we deliver to the business. In this role, you will drive change and scale in the most effective way possible, deploying project management and agile methodologies in order to assist in the organization, creation, communication, and facilitation of initiatives and activities that allow the company to achieve its transformation goals while following the strategic direction of the DFS Leadership Team.
The individual filling this role is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy and authority, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment on the portfolio programs, status, and risks. In addition, the candidate must be a detail-oriented self-starter, with a proven track record of leading by influence in a dynamic environment.
This role reports to the Vice President of Operations within the Digital Farming Solution unit of Bayer Crop Science.
What You Will Do
Define and gain alignment on overall changes needed within the DFS and the rationale for said changes in partnership with the VP of Operations, the DFS Leadership Team, and the Bayer Crop Science Leadership team.
Design, develop and execute tailored Change Management (CM) strategies and plans that ensure effective adoption of specific projects/initiatives.
Develop and execute plans that include Stakeholder engagement, Sponsor management, Change Readiness, Change Champion Network, Marketing, Communications, Coaching, Training, Resistance Management, and Transition to Sustainment.
Lead the DFS Change Champion Network and manage its actions as the transformation moves forward. Partner with the members of the DFS LT to drive change related activities, foster collaboration and ensure communications are aligned across each function.
Connect the DFS organization to the overall Bayer Crop Science Change Management initiatives and ensures alignment. Actively contributes to the further development of Bayer's Change Management practice.
Sequence the daily management of high priority transformation change efforts and continuously adapt Change Management plan and tactics.
Support the creation and implementation of DFS cultural traits and values
Conduct stakeholder analysis, impact analysis, and implementation planning. Produce output materials and recommendations based on analysis and stakeholder discussions
Manage focus group discussions and facilitate change management discussions
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Be recognized as a Change Management expert supported by his/her team, his/her stakeholders, and overall organization.
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience with operating models and supporting organizational structures.
Minimum 5 years' experience working with R&D and/or Commercial teams.
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
Possess strong influencing skills
Ability to communicate effectively throughout an organization, from senior executive to individual contributor level.
A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process. Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal
Flexible and adaptable: able to work in ambiguous situations. Forward-looking with a holistic approach
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in helping to develop high-performing and engaging teams.
Ability to lead a large organization through influence in a complex and dynamic environment
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with all levels of professionals in an organization.
Experience in continuous improvement programs, organizational design, and project management
Ability to inspire trust and followership in others through pragmatism, business acumen, ability to communicate clear rationale, and active drive.
