The Chief Nursing Officer role models excellent customer service performance and is responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of all areas where nursing practice occurs and nursing resources are deployed for the provision of safe, quality care to align with USP's mission vision and values and other hospital objectives established by the governing body. This is a full time (40 hours per week) position.
Duties:
- Effectively manage the delivery of health care, with special focus on patient/family/physician satisfaction, clinical quality, growth the core business, and net income performance
- Promote a practice environment that empowers nurses to provide effective, compassionate, and efficient nursing care
Requirements:
- Master's Degree or higher in Nursing or Health Management
- Current Michigan RN licensure
- BLS certification
- Five years of progressive experience in clinical nursing
- Strong clinical, leadership, and management skills
- Able to embrace United Health care Partners mission, vision, values, journey, and continuous improvement philosophy
- Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary skills
- High level of initiative and creative problem solving
- Good conflict management skills
- Knowledge of all patient age groups
