Administer the federal financial aid verification process to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations governing federal financial aid, federal tax laws, and institutional policies. Utilize independent, analytical decision-making to audit and correct financial aid applications against student demographics, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) data, and US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) documentation to determine award eligibility. Administer the transmission of the Institutional Student Information Records (ISIR data load), Federal Pell Grant and Federal Loan data between the College and the federal systems. Using independent analytical decision-making, monitor, analyze and correct import and export errors with Banner between the College and the federal systems. Lead the development of all financial aid student platforms (Dynamic Forms and Campus Logic) utilizing complex logic and conditional rules to validate regulatory requirements and improve process flow as required by regulation and business processes. Develop operating procedures, training materials, and compliance/data integrity safeguards for the verification, dependency status, citizenship, import/export and ISIR data load processes and train, counsel, coach, and audit other financial aid staff on these processes.
