RN-LTC Location:Newberry, MI Job Description
Provides direct and indirect resident/patient care activities. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of patient/resident care. Provides supervisory direction and development of all LPNs and Certified Nurses Assistants.
Organizing and implementing resident care services to ensure high quality of care, excellent customer service and efficient operations.
Directly responsible to the Director of Nursing for Long Term Care; also the Nursing Supervisor, and MDS Coordinator.
Daily interaction with co-workers and other hospital personnel, medical staff, patients/residents, and visitors.
Requirements
State of Michigan RN License in good standing
BLS and ACLS required
Prior experience with long-term care
Medical and surgical nursing experience
Ability to see death as a part of the natural process of life
Ability to build long-term relationships with patients and their families
