Artiflex Manufacturing's Business Development Executive in our Tooling Division will be responsible for supporting existing partnerships, evaluating and growing new opportunities, and executing partner acquisition strategies with organizations (OEM’s and Tier I’s). Strategic entry and meeting overall sales goals of new and existing customers and building customer networks will determine long-term success.
The Business Development role will:
- Develop relationships with key customers with businesses that support ArtiFlex’s growth plan as related to our Tooling business.
- Follow identified sales plan for tooling sales to meet company objectives, including revenue and profitability requirements.
- Assist with identifying opportunities with intercompany leaders for programs that flow across all areas of ArtiFlex.
- Initiate sales process by building relationships, qualifying potential customers, utilizing CRM Software (Sales Force) and working potential sales to successful award.
- Work with Tooling team to determine viability of new work, including capacity, type/fit, profitability and other considerations.
- Work with customers to understand needs and provide engineered solutions to their needs.
- Close sales opportunities by overcoming and finding solutions to customer objections.
- Communicate customer feedback to all levels of ArtiFlex Management.

Competencies:
- 5+ years of experience in the metal stamping tooling industry.
- 7+ years of business development, engineering and/or project management experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Journeyman Toolmaker or equivalent experience.
- Passion for increasing company growth with a drive to succeed.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork and presentation skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Have the ability to travel to hold face-to-face meetings with customers.
- Ability to work onsite or remotely and travel 40-50%.
