The Sales Account Manager is responsible to implement the corporate sales strategy to grow the sales revenue. The Person must establish and develop a productive and positive long-term relationship with new and existing customers to increase sales by creating opportunities for new products and applications. This position reports to the Business Development Manager and interacts with personnel throughout the company.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement strategic sales and account plans to accommodate corporate KL NA goals.
Generate new business with existing and potential customers.
Developing business/sales & marketing plans for new products and customers/prospects.
Represents company at product, commercial, and quality meetings
Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
Reviews and understands relevant markets to determine customer needs, products, price schedules, competitors strengths/weaknesses, and KL NA opportunities with specific customers/markets.
Coordinate customer product changes with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion
Participate in the APQP process
Access supplier portal and monitor for RFQ and commercial activity (upload quotes and commercial documents)
Enters opportunities and updates in the company CRM system and quote log in a timely manner
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years of sales of a technical product, with an outstanding record of success
Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering
Strong technical and analytical skills including understanding of product cost and component pricing
Experience in preparing and presenting technical quotations
Experience and success in negotiating complex, performance based contracts
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical and quality concepts to customers with varying experience levels
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Experience in sales of springs or spring components is desirable
TRAVEL:
- This position will require overnight travel to customer and company locations on a weekly basis.
