Job Description SummaryManages the entire hiring cycle, including recruiting, interviewing, reference checking, making offers, and conducting orientation for new employees. May conduct or have responsibility for orientations. Assisting in developing plans and strategies for sourcing appropriate candidates, conducting the interview process, and extending offers to selected candidates while reporting/providing hiring metrics. Researching and sourcing candidates through advanced search techniques and developing internal and external search strategies per position assignment. Recruiting, interviewing, making offers, and may conducting orientation for new employees. Counseling hiring managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization.
Job Description
*Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
*Builds employment applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and Internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
*Determines employment applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
*Attracts employment applicants by placing job advertisements.
*Determines employment applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
*Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; arranging community tours.
*Evaluates employment applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers.
*Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices.
*Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
*Protects organization value by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
*Contributes to employee recruiting and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
*All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree
5-10 years experience required in automotive industry/ manufacturing preferred.
Experience with hourly production as well as salaried recruiting preferred.
