General Summary:
Under direction of the registered nurse and according to established policies and procedures, the Surgical CST, functioning as a member of the surgical team, focuses on planning, directing, and controlling surgical instruments, inventory, and equipment utilized within the OR suite.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate from an accredited program of practical nursing or surgical technology, to include pharmacology.
Must have appropriate certification for Surgical Technologist
Must have current BCLS certification .
