Job Description
The Corporates Segment - Director Partner Strategic ISV/SI Alliances owns the responsibility to develop, maintain and expand the partnership strategy for Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and System Integrators (SI). This includes building strategic partner relationships, executing the strategy, and collaborating with the Corporate segment to drive step-change growth for Thomson Reuters.
Position can be based in any major US city.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as Director Partner Strategic ISV/SI Alliances key responsibilities are:
In an agile environment you will team with the Head of Partnership & Alliances to reshape and transform how we engage ISV / SI partners to driveexponential growth
Coordinate and provide insight on all ISV / SI partnership activity between Thomson Reuters partners
Work with Corporate segment, including but not limited to, sales, product, and technology teams to shape ISV / SI partnership strategy for Thomson Reuters
Work with Thomson Reuters largest partners to develop commercial strategies, innovate joint technology solutions and shape account plans for the Corporate segment
Define what success looks like for ISV / SI partners and develop prioritization criteria
Define go-to-market activities of new ISV / SI partner offerings, including strategy to maximize sales, sales per partner, number of offerings, and other key revenue-generating metrics
Develop broad based channels with wide adoption to drive commercial success through ISV / SI partners
Develop relationships to support ideation, sales development, and joint marketing programs
Building a business plan with each partner and setting - and achieving - commercial goals, including ownership of end-to-end operational delivery and commercial milestones
Working with Marketing and Product Management teams to manage web site changes, press releases and new partner announcements
Collaborating internally to meet the needs of our ISV / SI community to drive success for our business and partners
Key Deliverables:
Define commercial strategy and success metrics with our key ISV/SI partners
Build and lead a team to meet defined targets and execute individual partnership account strategies
Work with sales operations to track ROI for partner led activities
Establish a cadence of partnership reviews to assure execution of account partnership plans
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Director Partner Strategic ISV/SI Alliances if you have:
Bachelor's in business administration, varying educational backgrounds and experiences preferred
10+ years of Marketing, Channel Partnership and/or Business Development experience
5+ years global Partnerships & Alliances experience in a similar role
5+ years working with ISV/SI partner (e.g. MSFT, SAP, Oracle, AWS, Deloitte, IBM, Tata, Accenture, etc.), a demonstrated competence in required workflows, customer personas, and technologies
Track record of working with all types of enterprises (customers or partners)
Broad sales, operations and influencing skill set, emphasizing leadership, influence, and open communication
Strong business acumen, thorough understanding of security technology, and technical know-how of API's and how to commercialize them
Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder and relationship management
Highly entrepreneurial and ability to work across multiple teams/parts/levels of the organization
Ability to successfully lead in an agile, fast-pace environment developing new and unproven standards
Builds effective relationships and partners with others to develop joint solutions
Exceptional organizational, verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
