The Staff Accountant will support the business in reaching success and profitability goals by working with the Accounting Manager and other accounting and finance team members to create and maintain accounting processes and activities as well as process transactions within the ERP system.
You will…
- Perform monthly closing activities and support the Accounting Manager with month/quarter/year end reporting.
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Provide monthly accounting reports to other departments.
- Analyze company data and make recommendations.
- Maintain daily bank imports and perform bank reconciliations.
- Maintain and reconcile corporate credit card activity and reporting
- Reconcile and prepare monthly revenue entries
- Make journal entries and process general ledger transactions.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes.
- Manage A/P and A/R functions as needed.
- Assist with A/R collection efforts for past due accounts as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

You have…
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 2-4 years general accounting experience.
- Understanding of accounting principles.
- Understanding of data analytics.
- Knowledge of state and use taxes a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with NetSuite a plus.
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable processing experience required.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- The ability to manage time and multi-task effectively.
- The ability to work under tight deadlines and manage shifting priorities effectively.
- The ability to think critically and make appropriate business decisions.
