Who we’re looking for:
Toyota’s Purchasing Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Supplier Diversity Purchasing Analyst.
This key role serves as the window to external diverse suppliers looking to partner and provide high quality parts, materials and indirect services to Toyota, and to internal divisions including Diversity & Inclusion, Corporate Communications, TMS, TFS, etc. Responsibilities support our corporate efforts to identify, cultivate and develop high potential diverse supplier partners. Position is also key in measuring and monitoring progress toward achievement of Toyota’s supplier diversity spending targets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for Tier 1 or Tier 2 data collection, analysis and presentation related to diverse supplier spend
- Report accurately and timely to appropriate Supplier Diversity project milestones including reporting out to top management on creation of target & achievement to such targets
- Develop sourcing strategies, in collaboration with procurement, which result in increasing Toyota’s diverse supply base
- Diversity council / organization relationship management
- Develop, coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops and round tables both internally and externally
- Represent Toyota PSD, both internally and externally, in the areas of Supplier Diversity
- Supplier Diversity communication development
- Planning and implementation of Toyota Opportunity Exchange event (annual forum for connecting Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers ), including speech writing, content development, presentation support
